To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter as a reference for Reverend Ray Houston, a current volunteer of the Boys & Girls Club where I am the Director of Operations. I have only known him since August of this year but can say that he has been an assest to our Club. He is very organized, timely and always passionate about whatever he sets out to do.

When I first met Reverend Ray he came in for a tour and was interested in learning more about the Club. He was interested in becoming an Impact Volunteer where he would spend 4 consecutive weeks with a group of 15 pre-teenage boys in our Passport to Manhood Program. Not only did he fulfill his commitment but also signed on for another session working with our Junior High location. He not only created a positive environment for our Club kids but also supplied much needed guidance as a positive male role model for the boys. 

During his last day at junior high the boys were truly disappointed that he was not going to return. We are working on other ways he can engage with Club kis in the future. 

The young men connected with Rev Ray and really valued the time he spend with them. We appreciate the connections he created with our children and have hopes to continue this relationship in the future.
