Ray Houston engages audiences as a thought-provoking speaker, using his personal story of triumph from corporate success to downfall, and redemptive resurgence. He tells how through determination, his devastation became his motivation. As a speaker he’s been called “Mr. Determined.” As an author, he’s been called “the escapee from hell.” His 'power words' are: determination, commitment, desire, and confidence (DCDC).

Ray has spoken in the prison, county jail, head start programs, Boys and Girls Clubs, college classes, and recovery programs. In 2019, he was awarded the Dr. Lester Porter Leadership Award for his outstanding service in the church and community.
